Chilton show falls to rain!

August 27, 1999; Chilton, WI - Things started off well for the Calumet County Racing Association Friday night, that is until feature race time rolled around. Unfortunately, rain rolled in around 9:00 forcing a cancellation of the program.

Before the rains came, fans got to witness heat race action.  Here Craig Gravatt (#32) enjoys his time in the winner's circle after capturing the third WIMSA Mini-Sprint heat.  Rains came before the feature event could be run.

Elkhart Lake's Scott Sippel is leading the way in the WIMSA Mini-Sprint division with a thirteen point advantage on second place runner, Scott Uttech from Muskego. Uttech notched fast time in the Mini-Sprint division this Friday, but with six feature wins, Sippel is keeping a strangle hold on
Uttech, hopefully to win his first track championship.
