June 25, 1999, Chilton, WI - This evening at the Calumet County Speedway in Chilton, WI. created some bad memories for racers Dan Bartz and Mark Topceski, as both drivers tagged the retaining barrier and damaged their machines during the evenings action.

Tim Frerichs got the early lead in the WIMSA mini-sprint feature and never looked back. Polesitter Kevin Eggert, from Appleton trailed Frerichs going into turn two, Glenbeulah's Jeff Harder was just behind Eggert fresh of a heat win. The mini-sprints first caution flag was brought out for Omro's Ryan Besaw after what seemed to be a blown motor leaving Besaw stranded on the front straight.
With things getting back underway, Tim Frerichs again pulled a jump on the fiels, eventaully claiming the checkered after 20 fast and furious laps.
